Blue Mist Apartment
The apartment was constructed in 2005 and has outstanding unrestricted views towards St Ives harbour and the surrounding coastline.
The apartment is just 250m from Porthminster beach and the town centre. A reserved parking space is provided on the nearby Station Car Park within the price.
The apartment is situated at part 2nd but mainly 3rd floor level with access via an external staircase at the side of Blue Mist Guest House. The main entrance is on the gable end at 2nd floor level with an additional entrance at 3rd floor level to the rear of the apartment.
The apartment is built within the roof structure to the property and does have some internal sloping roofs with slight restricted headroom at the side of some part of the 3rd floor but generally 1.8m+ headroom is prevalent from 1.2m from the sides.
The accommodation, in brief, comprises a twin bedded en-suite room, two double bed rooms, an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and bathroom. There area hardwood floors throughout the apartment.
The access is via a hardwood side gate leading to the external staircase. The side gate is locked with “Yale” key access supported by an additional dead lock if required.

The 3rd floor entrance/exit is from the corridor which leads to the bedrooms/bathroom.
Heating
The twin bedroom contains a double radiator connected to the guest house system which is active from 0730 – 2230 each day and is controlled by a thermostatic radiator valve.
The 3rd floor rooms have oil filled radiators which can be activated as required.
Fire Safety
The apartment is connected to the main guest house fire alarm system which is fully compliant with the Regulatory Fire Orders which govern the letting of buildings. The apartment also has its own hard wired smoke/fire detectors which are independent from this system. The kitchen has a fire extinguisher and fire blanket.
Outside areas
There is limited outside area but as mentioned a small seating area is provided on a landing section of the external staircase which captures the summer sun from midday until early evening. There is ample space to store body boards/surf boards/beach equipment.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly forbidden on any part of the Blue Mist property and the nearest “usable” area is the Warren itself or the seating area at the nearby Arts Club.
Access to Blue Mist Apartment
In detail the access comprises:- 
There are 3 steps up from the Warren to the side gate with small landing area at that level.
There are 6 steps with handrail to the landing area at the rear door to the guest house.
There are 4 steps with handrail to the bottom of the external staircase.
The external staircase comprises 3 sections of 7, 6, and 7 steps to the 2nd floor entrance. In between each rising section is a wide landing area. In between the 2nd and 3rd rising section the landing area is particularly wide with small table and chairs.
The external staircase carries on to the rear of the apartment with a further 2 sections of 12 and 11 steps to the entrance at 3rd floor level.
